Indigo Mix Herringbone Series
The warp threads are made of 16-count single yarns dyed in a medium indigo using rope dyeing. The weft threads are made of 10-count single yarns dyed indigo with a cotton-linen blend. This fabric is woven on a jacquard loom using BLUE BLUE JAPAN's original herringbone pattern, and combines the luster of linen with a rustic texture.
A compactly balanced jacket with a simple concealed placket that makes the most of the texture of the material. The body has a straight silhouette with just the right amount of volume and a compact length. The concealed placket keeps the buttons hidden, allowing the washed texture to shine through. The cuffs and pocket lines make use of curves.
These drawstring pants have a wide straight silhouette with volume from the waist to the hem. The front has one tuck and knee tucks. The pants have a simple design that makes the most of the texture of the material, but the voluminous form is the highlight. The pocket line makes use of the curves.
A simple kurta style sleeveless dress. It has a moderately compact straight silhouette with a line that hides the shoulders, giving it a beautiful outline when worn. It can also be worn open in front like a long gilet. The simple silhouette is characterised by the front meeting and pocket lines that make use of the curves.
