LLBean JAPAN EDITION

This is a new collection from LLBean, in which a number of classic pieces have been updated for a modern look by a Japanese design team.

We pay the utmost respect to the LL Bean archives, which have been loved around the world for over a century since the brand was founded in 1912, and are expanding our world of manufacturing beyond simple reproductions.

At HIGH! STANDARD we have been selecting items since the start of our 2023 collection, and with each passing season, more and more people are looking forward to new items.

The highlight of this season is the Orono Long-Sleeve Shirt.

This new oxford shirt is based on the "Bean's Oxford Cloth Shirts", a classic model that has been available since the 1970s, and has been designed with functionality in mind so that it can be worn in Japan's unique hot and humid climate.

Material is LLBean's original fabric made with "COOLMAX yarn," which absorbs and evaporates sweat five times faster than cotton, keeping you comfortable at all times.

However, it has a natural texture and feel that is no different from 100% cotton, and you can wear it while retaining the elegant atmosphere that is unique to striped shirts.

The fit is slightly loose with a boxy silhouette.

The number of buttons on the front is set to six, and the spacing between each button has been finely adjusted to ensure that the collar rolls back nicely when the first button is opened, a touch that is typical of JAPAN EDITION.

It features EasyCare specifications that make it wrinkle-resistant and eliminate the need for ironing, and the subtle LL Bean embroidery on the back of the collar is also Points.

This is a piece that we would like to recommend to those who like shirts, as well as those who don't wear them very often. We recommend it with confidence.

The Prospect Harbor Field Coat is an updated version of the more than 100-year-old field coat in both Material and silhouette.

Of course, the outstanding coloring and texture are outstanding, but what deserves special mention is the "lightness".

He started by asking if he could make a texture like a faded hunting jacket with a light Material instead of a heavy Material like a cotton duck.

The original fabric using polyester yarn with an odd-shaped cross-section is very light and has a natural texture like cotton because the thickness of the yarn itself is not uniform and has a messy shape.

The woven fabric is then subjected to a special print, and then stonewashed from there.

The slightly rugged feel reminiscent of a work brand is a nice difference from what you'd expect from LLBean.

You can wear it in a short length to follow the trend, or choose a larger size and throw it on loosely.

The origin of the brand is the "Maine Duck Hunting Coat" introduced by the brand's founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, in 1924.

This latest model is an updated version of a classic that has been loved throughout the ages since it was first introduced over 100 years ago, using CEBONNER® nylon canvas developed by Toray rather than the traditional cotton canvas.

By applying a special wrinkle treatment to the outer material, it has a very matte and natural texture, even though it is made of 100% nylon.

The defining difference from traditional cotton canvas is its lightness.

It has just the right amount of firmness without looking too cheap, and is comfortable to wear without any stress.

If you stand up the collar and use the chin strap, it instantly gives off a mature vibe. It's a great item that can be worn in two different ways.
