USA soldiers embroidered designs related to the country they were stationed in onto their jackets. They would bring these back to their home countries as souvenirs, hence the name "souvenir jacket."

The designs are diverse, including patterns that reflect the characteristics of the land, and sometimes even include information about the unit to which the soldier belonged and the operations he carried out.

This season's GERMANY series is reversible, with thin Material: polyester/ rayon satin (front) ⇔ polyester satin (back).

With its bomber jacket-like volume and direct raglan sleeve pattern, it surprisingly looks great on people of all builds.

Aside from the excellent design and the quality of the embroidery, the size is probably the best Points.

This season's model in particular uses polyester satin for the lining, making it lightweight, breathable and giving it a relaxed feel.

The rib tension is intentionally left slightly loose to give the garment a worn look, and the zipper is made by the prestigious company IDEAL.

The hawk on the back is also exceptionally stylish, and for the quality of this double A-side, this price is definitely a good deal.

The VIETNAM JACKET has been particularly popular in the vintage clothing market in recent years.

The so-called vintage ones tend to have narrow underarms and arms and a somewhat tight silhouette, but this one has been updated to a boxy silhouette that can be worn in a modern way. That said, it's not too oversized, but still has an exquisite balance.

As with the GERMANY JACKAT above, the most important Points is the size.

The glossy poly/ rayon outer fabric features delicate embroidery using low count, matte thread.

"WHEN I DIE I'LL GO TO HEAVEN, BECAUSE I'VE SPENT MY TIME IN HELL"

"When I die, I'll go to heaven because I've experienced hell while I was alive."

It's a famous phrase that shows how brutal the Vietnam War was, but I wonder if it's a simple spelling mistake or a slang term. There are some vintage items where the last "HELL" embroidery has been changed to "HEELL."

As you would expect from THRIFTY LOOK, even the smallest details are faithfully reproduced.

The lining is also made of polyester satin, just like the GERMANY, making it lightweight, breathable, and relaxing. Of course, the zipper is from the prestigious IDEAL company.

Each item has its own unique background, but they are also undoubtedly useful simply as lightweight jackets.
