Two jackets inspired by vintage items.

Both items were so popular when they first arrived that they sold out, but have now been restocked ahead of spring.

Although the backgrounds of their creation are very different, the common thread is the bold "embroidery" on the back.

Both are of stunning quality. We'll compare them with the originals, take a closer Points at the key features, and find out what makes them so special.

SOUVENIR JACKET

USA soldiers embroidered designs related to the country they were stationed in onto their jackets. They would bring these back to their home countries as souvenirs, hence the name "souvenir jacket."

The designs are diverse, with patterns reflecting the characteristics of the land, and sometimes including information about the unit to which the soldier belonged and the operations carried out.

The THRIFTY LOOK/Souvenir Germany Jacket is a piece based on the archives of souvenir jackets.

This reversible jacket has a cotton velvet front and a polyester satin back, allowing you to enjoy two different texture with just one jacket.

The cotton velvet (front) has a US ARMY/GERMANY motif, which is rare even in vintage. It is very carefully embroidered with "GELNHAUSEN" at the bottom.

It features a generous width and a slightly shorter length.
The volume of the bomber jacket and the straight raglan sleeve sleeve pattern create a neat boxy silhouette.

This almost perfect size makes the outstanding design stand out even more.

The rib tension is intentionally left slightly loose to give the garment a worn look, and the zipper is made by the prestigious company IDEAL.

This is a solid update that combines meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise that goes beyond a simple reproduction.

Be sure to add the THRIFTY LOOK/Souvenir Germany Jacket to your wardrobe.

FFA JACKET

The FFA jacket is the uniform of USA National Agricultural School, which was established in 1928, and features embroidery that differs from state to state.

This is a familiar item for those who like vintage clothing, but this FFA JACKET, which is generally considered navy, has been made in two colors: black and natural.

This is a special order item from HIGH! STANDARD.

For the embroidery on the back, which is more common in suburban areas and rare in urban areas, we requested the "North Becah" area of San Francisco.

Speaking of NORTH BECAH, it is the area where CITY LIGHTS BOOKSTORE, a familiar store at HIGH! STANDARD, has its physical store.

So we had the name of CITY LIGHTS founder, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, embroidered on the chest.

The updated size is excellent, with a wider body and a boxier silhouette than the original. Even without the background, it is simply completed as a short corduroy jacket.

Another attractive feature is the careful sewing, in which low count thread is sewn with a fine sewing pitch, and the fabric is wrapped around areas that will be subjected to stress when worn to increase strength.

Don't miss out on this special FFA JACKET, which is like a souvenir item.
