We have been making shoes for a long time in Kurume, a city that flourished as a rubber industry town with the production of tabi socks as a catalyst. The shoes produced at our own factory in Kurume are imbued with the techniques and experience we have cultivated over our long history. Since our founding in 1873, we have been making "MADE IN KURUME" shoes with confidence and pride in the serious shoemaking we have continued to do to this day, aiming to make comfortable shoes for everyone.
"BLUE BLUE" started with a denim shirt made in the early 1980s. We pursue the ultimate simple and basic daily wear, with a focus on denim and indigo blue that change beautifully the more you wear them.
The upper part is made of authentic duck fabric, which has just the right amount of strength and flexibility. The lining and shoelaces are made of thick cotton for added strength.
The shoe box is also printed with the brand logo. A pair of indigo-dyed shoelaces is included. You can enjoy the contrast between the upper and the shoelaces that change over time.
The eyelets for the shoelaces are the same color as the fabric, giving the shoes a calm look.
The outsole has improved wear resistance, and the insole has a double structure of cushioning that is softer and more resilient than before. The heel counter has different lengths on the inside and outside to provide a stable fit. The heel patch and insole are specially designed with an original design.
