- Sashiko is Material was originally created not for apparel but for things like judo uniforms.
Its characteristics are that it is strong, yet soft, giving the silhouette a rounded look. It can be said to be the most easily recognizable sashiko Material among the many sashiko series by "BLUE BLUE JAPAN".
It comes in two colors: INDIGO, which is dyed by hand by artisans, and WHITE, which is bleached from its original off-white color to white using ozone processing without using harmful chemicals or large amounts of water, and is further treated with Teflon to make it easier to remove stains that may have accumulated while wearing the garment.
Based on the classic work pant shape, it has a slightly deeper rise and extra room around the hips, creating a silhouette that brings out the rounded characteristics of the fabric.

This product uses Material dyed with indigo dye, so it will change from dark blue to light blue after repeated wear and washing. Avoid wearing it in combination with white or light colored items, or layering it as the color will transfer. The color will fade when washing, so please wash it separately.
