- #8833 is based on #8173, which uses Hawthorne Abilene, a beige rough-out leather that was born as a Japanese plan in 1989. The piping, stitch, and shoelaces have been changed to brown to create a one-tone overall. A fresh and stylish pair.
Unlike most suede leathers, which are made by thinly slicing the brushed side of the leather, the grain side (leather surface), which is the part of the leather with the highest fiber density, is used on the inside, and the raised side is used on the outside, that is, the leather is turned inside out. Roughout leather is originally used for outdoor shoes, and can be said to be tougher work boots.
