This tailored jacket is made from Sashiko fabric, a representative Material of BLUE BLUE JAPAN.
【Material】
The plump and thick double-weave Sashiko fabric is characterized by its thickness yet softness. The puffy fibers contain air, which also provides heat retention. The sashiko portion is woven using two strands of 16-count thread, which have been twisted together to make a thicker thread. The use of different thicknesses for the warp and weft threads creates the unique uneven texture of sashiko. The fabric is originally beige in color, and after it is made into a product, each piece is hand-dyed a jet black by an artisan.

The size fit your body just right. It has a tailored, stylish look, but the soft feel of the sashiko fabric makes it suitable for both casual and dressy wear. It has lining on the back and sleeves.
