This jacket is based on an authentic denim jacket, with a focus on easy-to-use pockets.
【Material】
The thick, fluffy double-weave sashiko fabric is characterized by its thickness yet softness. The puffy fibers contain air, which also keeps the fabric warm. The sashiko portion is woven using two strands of 16-count thread, which are made thicker by twisting three strands together. The use of different thicknesses for the warp and weft threads creates the unique uneven texture of sashiko.

This fabric is originally beige in color, and after it is made into a product, each piece is hand-dyed jet black by an artisan. The front tucks maintain lateral range of motion while creating waist pockets, making it easier to use as a jacket. The chest pocket, which features rounded corners as Points flap is also made easier to put your hand in by leaving some distance between the pocket opening and flap attachment point. The overall size is roomy.
