- This is a reproduction of the PENNEYS FOREMOST "pleated jacket" produced in the 1950s and 1960s.
Reproduced a fit fit silhouette based on the large size 44-46 at the time. It was sewn using a Union Special winding sewing machine and produced at a factory in Los Angeles, USA.
The fabric is Cone denim/white oak dead stock 2nd quality/ Selvedge denim. The buttons use two-pronged hooks to create a vintage feel that has deteriorated over time.
In recent years, the amount of USA-made clothing in circulation has been close to non-existent. Enjoy rare and valuable USA fabrics and USA sewing made in the USA.
*Please note that the fabric is dead stock 2nd quality, so there may be creases etc. on the product.
