Product comment
- The long-awaited Gore-Tex model is now available in Clarks Originals' iconic Desert Boots. These all-weather shoes feature a highly breathable GORE-TEX® membrane and a durable Vibram® sole.
[What are desert boots?] Desert boots are a British shoe that has always led the way in casual shoes since their launch in 1950. The timeless, simple design was created by Nathan Clark, who served in the British Army during World War II. The upper is made of cow leather that becomes softer the more often it is worn, and the crepe sole made from natural rubber provides a flexible fit.
[GORE-TEX(R)] It combines waterproof durability to prevent the penetration of rain and snow, and breathability to allow the escape of water vapor from sweat, keeping your feet dry in a variety of weather conditions.
Clarks
Clarks is a shoe brand founded in 1825 in Street, a town in the southwest of England. When the company was founded, it produced sheepskin slippers with fur. After that, the company continued to pursue ease of wear and comfort, and began making shoes that are said to be the origin of casual and comfort shoes. This led to the development of the Wallabee and Desert Boot, shoes that appeared in the 1950s and 1960s and are now considered icons of the brand. Over its long history, the company has grown into a global casual shoe brand.
