- Gramicci x HIGH! STANDARD collaboration pants were well received this spring. Now, the second edition has been released in a fleece Material. The silhouette is the same as the first edition. It is an original silhouette created from scratch, with a slightly loose tapered around the hips and slight tapering from the hem. The side stitch is triple stitch, as is typical of HIGH! STANDARD, which has its origins in workwear. The distinctive diagonal back pockets are taken from the company's archive model featured in the 1999 catalog. Based on parts that are synonymous with Gramicci and have been loved throughout the ages, such as the webbing belt and gusset crotch, this is a one-of-a-kind pair of pants equipped with HIGH! STANDARD-like gimmicks.
Gramicci
Gramicci is a sportswear and casualwear brand focused on rock climbing, founded in Silver Lake, California in 1982 by legendary USA rock climber Mike Graham.
The gusseted crotch, which allowed for a 180-degree leg spread, as well as the webbing belt and easy waist that could be easily adjusted with one hand, had a major influence on subsequent casual pants.
The brand is characterised by its unique character, the Running Man, which has become its icon. It has gained support from people of all walks of life, including outdoor sports enthusiasts.
HIGH! STANDARD
HIGH! STANDARD opened in 1982, renovating a former foreign military doctor's house built in the early Showa period. At the time, they only sold MADE IN USA socks, but now they offer items that pursue USA basics, focusing on work, military, sports, and outdoor wear.
