Based on the MONSTER PARKA, a level 7 outerwear of the PCU (Protective Combat Uniform), which was developed for the US military special forces, this reversible short-length item features a striking color scheme of white with black and purple with olive.
The neckline is designed to hold the distinctive hood, and the front fly is designed to be functional, while the pockets on both sides are designed to be balanced for easy length around town. Although it is oversized, the amount of padding has been adjusted to create a sleek silhouette that is not too bulky. The outer material is 70D x 70D durable water-repellent nylon. The padding is made of ClimaShield Combat 2.7OZ/YD2.
CLIMASHIELD COMBAT
CLIMASHIELD COMBAT is a padding developed for use in harsh environments such as war zones and rugged natural environments. This special padding, made in the USA, is "Berry Compliant" (compliant with the law that requires the use of domestically produced materials in the procurement of Material for defense products in the USA), has excellent storage capacity, is durable, and has AquaBan properties that provide warmth even in wet or humid environments.
WILD THINGS
WILD THINGS is an outdoor brand founded in 1981 in North Conway, Massachusetts by John and Marie Bogardus, two of USA 's most renowned mountaineers.
Marie was born into a family that had been mountain guides in Chamonix, Switzerland, and in 1984 she became the first woman to successfully reach the summit of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes. Drawing on her experience of many challenging mountain climbs, she continues to produce high-performance products based on the concept that they must be "lightweight yet tough." In particular, her jackets made with PrimaLoft and Sympatex, which are said to be warmer than down, have won overwhelming support not only as outdoor wear but also as fashion wear.
The company has produced renowned masterpieces such as "Chamonix," "Denali," and "Primaloft," and recently has been accumulating new achievements, such as supplying products for USA Army's all-weather clothing system, the "Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS GenⅢ)," and the Marine Corps' "Happy Suit," due to the high quality of its products.
