UNIVERSAL WORKS is a British fashion brand founded by David Keyt in 2009.
The brand's design roots are in vintage and workwear worn by David's father and grandfather, which are reconstructed with a modern interpretation and attention to comfort. The brand name Universal Works embodies the designer's desire for "everyone to be able to wear it comfortably."
Based on the spirit of fair trade, Universal Works' collection is different from mass-produced clothes and pursues the real "handmade" feeling. For that reason, every step of the process, from cutting to sewing and finishing, is done by craftsmen in carefully selected small factories.
