- The denim fabric is 14.75 ounces and has a rugged feel that is typical of the brand, but because we wash the denim after receiving it, the fabric becomes familiar and very easy to wear.

PRISON BLUES" is produced by inmates in Pendleton, Oregon, U.S.A. In 1989, the state Department of Corrections was established in the prison to provide inmates with skills and opportunities for rehabilitation. All products are handmade by prisoners, i.e., purely made in the U.S.A. The quality of the products is very solid, and although initially only for prisoners in the prison, they are now also sold in the general market. It is a wonderful system where half of the proceeds go to compensate the victims, and the rest goes to the brand's operating costs and to the prisoners after their release from prison. It is with this background that we are able to buy American-made products at this price. Not only the production, but also the models for publicity are done by prisoners, and are truly made on the inside.
