- The denim fabric is made from a mix of recycled cotton, virgin cotton, and lyocell (regenerated fiber). All metal buttons are removable, and the brand logo patch is made from cellulose, which returns to the soil, instead of leather. This jacket was made with sustainability in mind. * The metal buttons used on hnst denim are designed to be removable by hand so that you can remove them yourself when recycling or disposing of the denim.

The brand is led by Anne Chapelle, who served as CEO of Ann Demeulemeester, and will be making its full debut in Japan from 24SS.
The name hnst (Honest) comes from the English word "Honest," which means sincerity. Making use of Anne Chapel's experience, the brand offers simple, stylish 101% cotton denim items.
All of our raw materials begin by collecting used items (denim), dismantling them, spinning them into fabric, and so on.
We also consider future recycling from the design stage, and create jeans with a design that does not hinder recycling.
