- These work pants are made to order from DICKIES HIGH! STANDARD has been dealing with for many years. They are modified based on the classic "874" model. The most notable feature is the low count stitch on the sides and hips, improving the design. The waist part is made elastic with built-in rubber, improving fit. The waist fastener has been changed from a hook to a more sturdy snap fastener, but in order to maintain the simple look of the "874", it is designed not to be visible from the outside. A coin pocket has been added to the right front to give it a classic feel. These are special work pants packed with attention to detail.
DICKIES
Dickies is an USA workwear brand. It is the world's largest workwear brand, with approximately 70% of the workwear market. In 1918, C.N. Williamson and E.D. Dickie founded the company that would become Dickies. They originally ran a business selling horse-drawn carriages and horse tack. In 1922, the company changed its name to the current "Williamson-Dickie Manufacturing Company." The name of the company comes from the two men's names. The brand name "Dickies" comes from Dickie's name. Williamson and Dickie founded Dickies with the desire to make workwear for USA workers. In the 1940s, they produced military uniforms for the USA Army during World War II. In the 1950s, they produced workwear for oil workers in Texas. During this period, Dickies' signature product "KHAKI 874" was released. The huge popularity of KHAKI 874 led to the company expanding overseas.
HIGH! STANDARD
HIGH! STANDARD opened in 1982, renovating a former foreign military doctor's house built in the early Showa period. At the time, they only sold MADE IN USA socks, but now they offer items that pursue USA basics, focusing on work, military, sports, and outdoor wear.
