A denim jacket with handle embroidery that looks like vintage clothing and an impactful chain-stitch embroidery on the back. This is an original Selvedge denim that has been made since around 1990. At that time, it was rare to make denim using old-fashioned power looms, so we created it through trial and error with a fabric store. The ounces are 14.5 ounces. The warp threads are rope dyed with dark indigo. The weft threads are dyed with gray beige. The combination of dark indigo and gray beige gives this denim a unique aging and flavor that other denims do not have. chain-stitch embroidery on the back uses a traditional technique called handle embroidery. Each piece is carefully made using a manual sewing machine, not a modern automated embroidery machine. By working while turning the handle of the sewing machine, the craftsman creates a subtle difference in texture of each piece even with the same design, and you can feel the warmth that can only be found in handmade items. The silhouette is designed to look good even if you just lightly throw it on over T-shirts. It can also be used for layered styles, making it suitable for a variety of style. In addition, we added a functional inner pocket to eliminate the weakness of conventional denim jackets, which is "poor usability". It is made with durability in mind, so you can use it for a long time. Compared to similar denim fabrics using 20-count threads in both the warp and weft directions, the number of threads (the number of threads in each direction in a 1-inch square) is increased, giving the fabric a firmness and stiffness while keeping the thickness low.
